The port of Rhodes operates as a cruise port. It is able to simultaneously accommodate up to eight cruise ships with a maximum length up to 250m.

The tourist harbour of Rhodes operates under the management and operation of the Municipal Port of the South Dodecanese. It receives approximately 400-500 cruise calls per year and over 550,000 visitors. Since June 2012 operates as a Home Port. The port has all the modern facilities to better serve the cruise ships and their passengers. Its unique geographical position at the crossroads of three continents, the beauty, history and culture of Rhodes make the tourist harbour one of the most attractive destinations in the Eastern Mediterranean. The port applies is approved under the “International Ship and Port Facility Rules” (ISPS Code) and the area is guarded by the Port Police and a private security company.
