Thessaloniki is a modern European and multicultural city at the center of northern Greece and it is the country’s second largest city with a population of one million residents.

It is the second major economic, industrial, commercial and political center in Greece and an important transport hub for the rest of Southeast Europe.

The port of Thessaloniki is located at the heart of the city, just 15 minutes walking from the center. It has sufficient infrastructures and superstructures and the ability to handle even the biggest cruise ships. The port of Thessaloniki has 2 jetties of between 230 m and 400 m, available for cruise ships approach. Also the port of Thessaloniki fully complies with the ISPS Code requirements and holds an ECOPORT certification from the European Sea Ports Organization (ESPO). 

The port provides a full range of services to cruise ships and cruise passengers.
