OLH A.E Positive Performance for Cruise Activity in Heraklion Increase in Passenger Numbers in the First Half of 2025

Cruise passenger traffic at the Port of Heraklion followed a positive trajectory during the first half of 2025, reaching a total of 190,606 passengers, marking an increase of 14.29% compared to the same period in 2024.

This year’s growth reflects the continued trust of cruise companies, as well as the growing response of the traveling public to itineraries that include Heraklion.

“Heraklion’s steady presence on the cruise map is not to be taken for granted. It is the result of consistent effort, constructive cooperation with stakeholders, and commitment to a realistic and effective strategy,” stated Minas Papadakis, CEO of Heraklion Port Authority.
