SAMOS Port of Samos Samos, the 8th largest island in Greece, is located in the eastern Aegean Sea. It has two main ports for cruise ships service, Vathy and Pythagorion. The port of Vathy is located in the capital of the island, Samos. It has the capacity to accommodate a cruise ship of up to 150 m length and up to 7.5-8m draft. The port operates a fully integrated security system based on an approved Port Facility Security Plan in accordance with the ISPS Security Code. It has a fully air-conditioned passenger station and a tax-free shop, with all the services and amenities to serve cruise passengers. Pythagorio , the second port of Samos, has the ability to accept a cruise ship of up to 150m length and 6,5-8m draft. The port has a security system based on an approved Port Facility Security Plan in accordance with the ISPS Security Code. It has a passenger station to serve the cruise passengers.
