VOLOS Port of Volos The port of Volos is a natural harbor which is located in the center of the Pagasitic gulf. Today, the Port of Volos, as one of the largest ports in the country, is the entrance and exit gate of the wider region serving both commercial and passenger - tourist traffic. In recent years, the cruise ship approach has been a particular feature of the multi-faceted activities of the port, with a continuous upward trend. The port has a 445m long pier and 11m draft, with the capacity to accommodate 2 cruise ships up to 250m long. The port operates a fully integrated security system based on an approved Port Facility Security Plan in accordance with the ISPS Security Code. It also has a Passenger Station fully equipped to serve cruise passengers.
